40 Days and 40 Nights - Day 6
Welcome to my life today I lay in my bed thinking of how I would start my day of work. I thought about what was actually paying dividends and what wasn't. As I consolidated my thoughts I had a feeling of complacency, I didn't really want to do anything. I know I had to push past this feeling but It was strong 💪, I took me a while to shift gears. My mind was focused on where I was actually at in my business and how long it took to get there and where I want to be. Add in the fact that I have a spinal cord injury so my neck and back have constant arguments with each other. As I was trying to concentrate my thoughts on what I needed to focus on for the day my mind kept drifting to whether or not I wanted the procedure my Orthopedic Surgeon wants to perform. I have never had surgery or anything the most I had was stiches a few times during my life, so this was an issue. I listen to people and I formulate a theory based on the information that I am provided with. I talked with an acquaintance of mine and he told me the same procedure put him in the ICU because the physician nicked a blood vessel or something. I had a conversation with a health care worker about what they were seeing in the hospitals and she said something that got my attention. The actual phrase I won't put down here but it was along the lines of the hospitals are a business. I had asked her why don't doctors give their patients what they actually need to return to health, instead of a carousel of medications. I sometimes ask questions to gage the perspective of others but the way I think is more direct and to the point. I wondered is the Surgeon actually giving me the best medical advice, or is it as she said a business. Is he looking out for his financial security or my health. So this is where I'm at in my head space today should be a great day for work, lol.
So as I proceeded to think about work and what I would actually focus on I thought I need to target my audience. Then a bigger question emerged, who was my audience? Not only who but also how was I really going to reach them. It's amazing with all of the technology and things the basic needs for a business remain the same. How do I reach and connect to the people who need me? To dig deeper into that question 🙋 I had to think about everything. This is gonna be a good blog, I'm about to spill the tea ☕ so you know exactly how my mind works. Ok here goes nothing, let's really examine what people are going through here today in 2021. The global health issue has left many from what I have seen anxious and afraid. People don't trust each other not that they ever did, but it is at epidemic levels of distrust. Financially relying on Politicians and the Federal Government in order to survive. No clear path out of current circumstances. I may have just described about 70% of the globe right about now. So what can I actually do to reach these people and their mental conditions during this time period. I was feeling down at first and I realized more than any time in history entrepreneurs are needed. Business Ideas and start ups to help stabilize the global economies before we all experience an economic free fall.
So I concluded that I would now refocus and double down on my efforts to find a way to get my message out to the world. I will be starting another You Tube channel to find and educate people on how to survive and thrive in this new global age. The channel will teach my followers how to build a solid business mindset. The key to my vision is that my followers will patronize each other, building up our collective brands. I believe that by uniting the people in the world who feel left behind, and underappreciated, and alone. To give them a sense of pride and independence, this would be the core principles of my vision. Well that is a glimpse into my mind so not only do I have three or four businesses to get off the ground I just added yet another thing on my to do list. Hmmm now the big question is can I do all this during the time I have allocated for this blog to run. Only way for you to find out is to keep reading this blog tell your friends and family about it.
